Cardiovascular diseases

Cardiovascular diseases, such as hypertension, myocardial infarction, coronary heart disease and stroke, are among the most common causes of death worldwide. Key risk factors include poor diet, physical inactivity, smoking and excessive alcohol consumption. To reduce the risk, it is important to implement healthy habits such as a balanced diet, regular physical activity, avoiding stimulants and maintaining a healthy body weight.

The Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Prevention Programme was developed for people at increased risk of these diseases. The programme aims to educate and raise awareness among patients through workshops, lectures and consultations with experts, promoting healthy lifestyles, regular examinations and early detection of risks.
